Why Shiseido?

資生堂　'Shiseido' brand was created in Tokyo (Ginza),Japan more than 130 years ago. It actually started off as a pharmaceutical company, and they tried to introduce modern western medicines to Japanese public during Meiji era. Their first best seller was a tooth paste!

Shiseido has come a long way and now it is one of the best cosmetic & skincare brands in the world. In Japan　only, Shiseido has created over 15 skincare & cosmetic ranges such as AQUALABEL, ELIXIR, HAKU and INTEGRATE. Shiseido also has more than 8 global ranges which you might be a little more familiar with. Products such as WHITE LUCENT, ZEN and BENEFIANCE are often advertised in famous fashion magazines all over the world.

I love the varieties in Shiseido products, which are carefully studied and marketed to different age/skin type groups. Japanese females often have beautiful skins and I thought I might be able to find some secrets in their most loved skin care brands, Shiseido.
